HTI Technology and MySQL

We have offered our services to MySQL community for over 10 years. During this time, we have collaborated in debugging new MySQL versions (bug report), evaluating new features, releasing documents, submitting source code, creating material for training and support, lectures, seminars, “webinars”, organizing forums, trainings and consulting. All this helped to form a unique knowledge base in Latin America.  

We constantly invest in research and knowledge. We continuously attend the MySQL users conference en Santa Clara/CA to be updated and exchange experiences with developers and users worldwide. In Sao Paulo, we have our study and research lab which is responsible for testing MySQL features, plugins, storage engines, applications and tools, and creating an extensive variety of solutions for the community and our costumers. 

No knowledge is valuable when segregated to a few. Therefore, we are keen to share our knowledge with our costumers, partners and friends. Periodically, we present online seminars, largely free, in order to disseminate the knowledge and culture of MySQL.   

In order to provide the best possible level of consulting in databases, we have in our staff senior engineers and also associate consultants in Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia and United States. Many of them are renowned and recognized by the international community of MySQL. 

Professional Training

In the training area, we have qualified and certified instructors in the U.S, along with an excellent quality material and didactics, we are convinced of offering the best training available in MySQL in Brazilian Market. It´s important to highlight that all our instructors are experienced and active consultants in databases (oracle, postgresql, mssql), thereby transforming the class into a unique experience, rich with examples of real cases. Theory is demonstrated in practice.  

We offer training in official and professional MySQL (Oracle University), MariaDB, among others related to the database subject. Although we follow the official agenda, a great characteristic of our trainings is the casual and relax environment, which has proved to be a great ally in taking in the subject.  

Our Instructors are consultants, which ensure an environment in which the theory explains the practice, and practice demonstrates the theory. Presenting real cases facilitate learning, in addition to provoke in the students the “how” and “where” to apply the new learned skills.

Although the training reinforce theory, a wide range of exercises are used during the lessons to ensure the students a full learning experience, these exercises are in the form of questionnaires, laboratory, challenges and crashes … ah many crashes.     

Training courses are taught in groups of at least four students and maximum of 12; a measure that aims to promote the exchange of experiences between the instructor and each student individually. Ten out of ten students recommend our training. The training can be taught in four different ways: 

Public Training (compulsory attendance): These are regular classes according to released schedule, in which the students have the opportunity to meet colleges from other companies, experiencing other points of view and challenges. 

Private Training (compulsory attendance): These are closed classes, exclusive for a particular costumer. They take place in our laboratory and primarily aim to focus on the contractor´s needs.

Training in Company: Exclusive classes that take place on the contractor´s premises. Besides providing more convenience for the students, these classes are interesting because there is a strong focus on the contractor´s needs.  

Online Training: Forget everything you know or have heard about distance learning and online courses. It is not a video recording or extremely boring sites with script to study. Our online training is live, with instructors presenting their slides, sharing their computer to explain and show examples. It has video interaction (optional), voice over the internet, and the huge advantage of not having to leave your home or business. It is especially recommended for students who do not live in Sao Paulo. We use the award winning tool from Cisco: Webex (www.webex.com).
